Mom and Dad have been supporters of Voices XXI since the group was founded by Jesse Parker in 2000. Jesse and John were both students of choral conducting under Paul Traver at the University of Maryland, and it was through their devotion to that group that Mom and Dad came to know Dr. Traver and many members of the chorus personally, including Jesse.
The whole family was deeply touched that twelve members of the group volunteered their time and talent to sing at the service and to help make it a beautiful occasion.
